Samson2023-05-15My mother, who is 101 in years, was moved into Villa Bernardo in September of 2022 after a bad fall. From the onset Villa Bernardo staff cared for her in a compassionate and loving manner. During January of 2023 there was an ownership change and employees who had left the facility encouraged me to remove my mother due to their belief the new owner/staff would not treat her as well. Instead of listening to them I did my due diligence and gave them a chance. The new staff has been absolutely awesome. The new owner, Mr. Chen has always been available and truly listens to me when we are discussing my mother's care. I could not be more happy with the continued care and love that has been shown to my mother. The facility is well kept and does not have that cramped in feel that I noticed with some of the other places I visited. The food is good and my mom's room is spacious and well designed. I would highly recommend Villa Bernardo.
